CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation, no-show, and re-scheduling are part of the job. That is why we have the following policy when it comes to dealing with those situations. First and foremost is client safety. Severe weather, dangerous river conditions are a couple of reasons we may choose to cancel a trip. We reserve the right to cancel your trip for any reason. If that is the case, we will try to work out a mutual re-schedule date, or fully refund your deposit and any other fees you have paid.

The choice is yours. If you discover a conflict with the day(s) that you have booked, you can cancel your trip and receive a refund of any deposits or fees as long as you do so at least 5 days prior to the trip. If you cancel within 1 days of your trip, the deposit will not be refunded. If you have paid for the trip in full, we will refund the difference between the full trip cost and the deposit amount.

We are willing to work with you to re-schedule your trip, if needed. After all, we’d rather spend a day on the water than do something else. If we can reach an agreement on a date, we will carry your deposit over to that new trip (up to one year).

No shows are defined here as a failure by the client to arrive at the designated launch point within 1 hour of the schedule start of the trip. A no show is considered a cancellation of the trip and there will be no refund of either the deposit or the remainder of the trip fees. These are tough ones. If you fail to show for your trip, we have invested our time getting ready and money out of pocket for fuel, gear, etc. to ensure you have a great day on the water.

Special situations and emergencies can and will be taken into consideration. We will do our best to work things out, so both parties are treated fairly.
